Tim Kraft vocalizing in the tunnel under the train tracks at Larrabee State Park
Recorded April 27, 2009

This tunnel likes to play in the key of C

If you step up to a wall near the center of the tunnel and sing or hum on the note at about 263 Hz (ever so slightly above middle C), you'll find the tunnel's natural resonance and the sound gets very loud inside the tunnel and takes at least 3 seconds to die out after you stop.

Is it also loud outside the tunnel? I don't know, I'm never there to find out !!!
